So like yesterday, my friend invited me to key west for the day (i live only a couple hours away) and i was taking a ride on his yacht and we were having a blast when all of the sudden, when we were in pretty deep trying to catch some fish, we saw this canoe boat with alot of people (5) in that tiny little boat! We asked them what happened and they said they fell off their own boat and got stranded with only the little canoe. We had a feeling they were lying but we told them to get on anyway! I mean, their english was pretty good! We took them to the nearest pier and quickly called an ambulance because they were severely dehydrated and everyone there started giving us dirty looks so we quickly got back on the yacht and went back to where he normally docks it. Do you think they were Cuban immigrants? I have a feeling they are but i don’t know what to make of it! Can we get in any trouble? I’m a little scared and paranoid!

Salt water aquarium fish may be quite expensive, ie. yellow-tangs may coast up to $40/each and some angel fish can be over 100 grand a piece. I had the idea that if I go to the Florida key reef, I can catch some fish for my reef aquarium, of course I will not break coral as it takes decades for coral to grow back.
Question:
If i catch a few angel fish and yellow tangs on the fluorida keys, would this be illegal?? Would I be liable to some type of fine??

If I was driving with someone under 21 in the car, and they had their license, what would the penalty be for getting caught? I live in Florida. Could I just give the keys to my passenger?

My husband and I signed a lease. It is signed by a witness but not Management. Yet it says, This lease will become effective when the attached application for residency is approved by property manager. So does that mean it is not effective?

Also, if money has not exchanged hands and we have not get the keys to the apartment, are we legally bound to it?
