Sportfishing in October?

I am trying to plan a surprise vacation for my husband for his 30th birthday. For my 30th he took me skydiving, so I have that to top! We love deep sea fishing, and his bday is in October. Trying to get recommendations of nice tropical area where the fishing season is good then. We would love to do some tarpon fishing too. We’ve already been to Cabo, Cancun, Jamaica, and Costa Rica, so was hoping to go somewhere new. Any feedback appreciated!
I don’t find Florida as prime fishing season in October on any of the charter websites. Carribean, Central America suggestions? Reasonably priced would be nice.

For October, the prime fishing for tarpon right now is Belize, which is located right next to Guatemala; although most other types of fish can also be caught there year round. They have both offshore, and flats fishing possibilities. So, one day you can get yourself a nice grouper, and the next you can fight with the silver king.
Depending on which type of fishing you do, (reef, deep sea, tarpon/bonefish) from what I’ve seen, expect to pay around $100 to $175 per person for a full day’s worth of fishing.

You’ll be fishing the amazon in Brazil. There is a lot of fish down there that you won’t soon forget and yes there are tarpon!

I would suggest Duck Key, Fl. Look into Hawks Cay resort, it is very nice. great offshore fishing without a long ride. also good tarpon fishing. October is a great time to fish in Florida. I live here and is it my favorite time of the year to fish. Inshore you have Snook that are everywhere, tarpon rolling on the flats, redfish tailing and trout that are pretty easy to find. Offshore Dolphin, Grouper, snapper, Permit, Wahoo, Cudas, marlin, Sailfish, and triple tail are just a few of the fish you can expect to find.
