Really, any time,I use to live in work in Key West Florida, they have several charter captains in all of the Keys, you shouldn’t have a problem finding any.

Just about right now should be hot for fishing. With the Mullet moved in, the Spanish sardines, Pilchards and the shrimp getting ready to run about ( if they aren’t already) only means a smorgasbord of tasty treats for all species swimming about. To spare you my ever so long review of each species you mentioned above, I’m giving ya some homework. Trust me, you’ll be glad I did.
Oh yeah, the Snook season is closed till Jan. 1st but catch and release is year round with the best fishing being Homestead down to the upper keys.~good luck catchin’.

Good answer Chimp.. As mentioned there is no bad time of the year to fish the Keys. The heat is the biggest factor. This time of year is perfect. Sailfish and wahoo are about the only two that aren’t easy to find year round.
