Florida Keys? Key West? Islamorada?
David I asked:
I’ve never been to the Keys but a buddy and I are going this summer and we have no idea which one to go to. We’re basically looking for a decent hotel on the beach with a good pool for drinking all day followed by a night out in the bars. Women are always a good thing too. We’re not necessarily looking for adults only places but we also don’t want to be stuck at Disney World on the beach.

Key West is by far your best bet. You can walk or bike everywhere, so no need for a car. There are many options of places to stay on the water and a very happening night life. You will not be disappointed.

KEY WEST IS THE PLACE WITH BEACHES AND BARS THE OTHER KEYS YOU COULD VISIT ON A DAY TRIP BUT THERE NOT TO MANY BEACHES IN THE KEYS OTHER THAN AT THE RESORTS IN KEY WEST

The Keys are beautiful! Islamorada is gorgeous! But, I suggest Miami, Florida instead. There are lots of hot girls in bikinis on the beach and stuff! There are also lots of clubs and bars. Miami, Florida is better, though, because you can see the city and the beach all-in-one! The city skyline is awesome, but a sunset on Miami Beach is much better in my opinion. I know all this because I’ve lived in Miami for six years. I know all there is to know. Any other questions? Ask me!

The best bet for Nightlife and Women is hands down Key West. There are a few big resorts that are right on the water – but the beaches in Key West are not muh to brag about.
The rest of the Keys are more scenic and quiet with not a whole lot of night life you are looking for. The Keys are big for fishing, snorkeling and scuba diving.
If the Keys are your choice – Key West is the answer. But the nice hotels on the beach are a short drive on A1A and there is a good Police presence – so drinking and then driving back to another locale is not a good idea. A1A is just a two lane road it would be better to stay on Key West.
I think that Miami is your best choice though – you can stay at a number of great hotels on great sandy beaches and walk / taxi to numerous clubs. The women on the beaches are also AWESOME!
