Puerto Rico, sounds like the best fit for you and your family.
-warmth/sun
average temp, 79.9 degrees year round.
-sandy beaches
to the north, south, east, west it’s a green paradise surrounded by sandy beaches.
-has to have an airport nearby
it has several.
-good dining
the food is amazing! I’m surprised people don’t talk about it more.
-family friendly-14 Y/O boy and 16 Y/O girl
it’s very family friendly.
-needs to have a marriott hotel
I’m not sure how many Marriott’s are there, but I think 4 or 5?
-not mexico
It’s not Mexico
-activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming with dolphins etc
It has all the above and more!
-shopping?
You’ll love it, some very posh areas, and many small little shops as well.
-preferably does not require a passport
it’s one off the only places you can go with out a passport, places like the Bahamas will let you in but you won’t be let back in to the USA if you don’t have one, for Puerto Rico all you need is a drivers license or some other type of state ID.

I think the best vacation spot is Aruba. There is a great Marriott!
