Cedar Key Florida. What to do to fill an afternoon?
july asked:
we are vacationing in cedar key, florida. four adult siblings. we like walking around (and have already walked all over cedar key several times), we are not interested in shopping at the malls, but we like antique stores and art and craft shops. we don’t want to fish.

we won’t mind driving 50 miles or so to a special place that would be fun to see.
so what is nearby of interest.

It is a bit more than 50 miles, but the town of Tarpon Springs(just down Route 19) is a very interesting place to visit. It is the original home of the Greek sponge divers and they still have tours, and such. Also some of the best Greek food you will ever have. The town is quaint and the waterfront a lot of fun. Give it a try!!
