Trip to west coast of florida in Nov. or Dec?

My husband and I are in the process of planning a trip down the west coast of Florida , thinking of flying into Miami going to Key Largo than come back up to the Fort Meyers area.
Any good suggestions on where to stay and such.
Would like to spend one night with a ocean view.

I suggest you fly into Miami and out of Fort Myers so you don’t have to backtrack. You might like Marco Island, if you can afford a more expensive place to stay on the water
