There are a lot of romantic things to do in both Miami and Key West.

If in Miami, visit the South Beach or Bayside areas. Both are beautiful and offer many things to do. In south beach, there is lincoln ave. This is an area of restaurants and shops. There are a number of wine bars here that are cafe style and just absolutely a romantic way to have a drink.

If you go about three blocks south of this area, you will come upon espanol way. This is a strip of restaurants. If you want romantic, I would highly recommend eating here. There is an italian bistro that the waiters sing to you, this is very cute.. It is a street that is cut off from through traffic, so it is truly sidewalk cafe charming and there are rustic buildings all around creating an atmosphere of beauty and mystique.

Bayside is a shopping and dining area all the way south from here. It is a great place to go if you are interested in great views of the water, yachts and south florida.

There also is a ferry that just started to run again that will take you to key west from this area as well. it is a fast ferry and may be a good way for you to travel.

Key west is known for its sunsets and its laid back, independent lifestyle. I would definitely be sure to see sunset from the piers. At sunset, everyone will go to the piers to sit and watch the sun go down. It literally gets the attention of the entire island, it is quite ritualistic. There are street performers and vendors on the piers at this time as well. Once the sun sinks into the sea, you will hear everyone break out into a thunderous applause. It really is quite the celebration.

Have a great time here in Florida, it is a beautiful, culturally rich place that I think you will have no trouble finding romance in.
