Geeting married on the beach.any ideas?

Patricia L asked:

I am recently engaged and would like to get married on a beach. I am thinking about an island or possible the Florida Keys. Can I have suggestions? I plan to have 20 guests and would love to know prices. We want the event to start on a thursday and get married on saturday then eveyone leaves on sunday. Are there good deals for just a weekend celebrations….possibly all inclusive?

I don’t know the answer but I sure would like to. My fiance and I want to be married on the beach also but we’re possibly thinking Gulf Shores Alabama, and island sounds nice too.

I just did something very similar in St Thomas. I will tell you, it waas the best wedding ever, and though I don’t know about your desired location, I wholeheartedly recommend this type of wedding.

When we decided on our location, we just started by googling weddings St thomas, and dug around from there. We used islandweddingservices which we found online…just an idea of how to start. We found huge price differences between the various services.

    Good luck!

    Hi,
Getting married on the beach is awesome, especially at sunset, (not to mention very romantic). I did that, in the FL Keys, when I lived there.

We had a friend that worked at one of the hotels, and let us use his dock, which was perfect for our small wedding. If you stay at one of the hotels on the beach, I would think they would allow you to do that.

The only problem I had, was that I had on heels and had to be carried across the sand to the dock! LOL

I don’t know pricing, but you could call the Chamber and get a packet sent to you. Or look online. Should be able to find all your info online.

    Good luck!
    Deb
